Paddockwood Forge offer a number of services to our clients including remedial and corrective shoeing, general maintenance trimming and shoeing services and an online shop which provides tried and tested hoof care products to enhance the care of your horses feet.
Maintenance Shoeing
Maintenance shoeing is provided for the equine athlete who requires shoes. Working with either traditional shoes or aluminium plates, PWF provides a excellent grounding to ensure your horse maintains their soundness, whatever their job.
Corrective Shoeing
Corrective or remedial shoeing is undertaken with the collaboration and guidance of veterinary surgeons to provide the most beneficial support to the horse to enable them to fulfil their potentials following injury or disease. A range of materials can be used.
Available Hoof Care Products
A variety of hoof care products are available in-person during your regular farriery visits. Tried and tested, these products will enhance the condition of your horses feet in-between farriery visits and will assist with the care of the hooves.
Maintenance & Corrective Trims
With a wealth of experience behind us, PWF provides trimming services for owners who prefer to have their horses barefoot. Barefoot trimming allows the hoof to naturally expand and contract and can be beneficial to a variety of horses.
